Dillon Brooks is staying with the Suns. The forward agreed to a three-year, $73 million extension that keeps him in Phoenix through the 2029-30 season.
Brooks has fit the role the Suns needed since acquiring him last season. He provides perimeter defense and floor spacing alongside Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. The deal locks in his services during what should be the team's championship window with that core intact.
The extension moves Brooks off the trade market and signals the Suns' commitment to their current roster construction. At roughly $24 million annually, the deal is manageable for a player who does his job on both ends without demanding the ball constantly. Phoenix went all-in this offseason, and this agreement shows they're not blinking on depth pieces either.
