Tampa Bay punched its ticket to the World Series by beating Cleveland in Game 6 of the ALCS. The Rays advance to face Milwaukee in the Fall Classic.
The Rays' lineup delivered when it mattered most. Their pitching staff held firm down the stretch. Cleveland couldn't manufacture enough runs to force a Game 7 at home.
This marks Tampa Bay's return to October's biggest stage. The franchise last played in the World Series in 2020, when they lost to the Dodgers. They'll arrive in Milwaukee battle-tested after grinding through a tough divisional series. The Brewers await, bringing their own roster hungry for a title. First pitch comes soon.
