Cooper Pratt went from playing shortstop for the Brewers' Triple-A Nashville affiliate on June 14 to winning the World Series as Milwaukee's starting shortstop four months later. The 22-year-old started all 13 postseason games and went 2-of-3 with two RBIs in Game 5, a 4-1 clinching win over Tampa Bay.

Pratt finished the World Series with a .422 batting average, eight hits in 19 at-bats, seven RBIs and two walks across five games. He nearly won World Series MVP, falling just short to teammate William Contreras. In Game 4, Pratt hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the 12th inning to give the Brewers a 3-2 lead.

The Brewers drafted Pratt out of high school in 2023. He called his early championship surreal, saying "This is surreal, it only took four months."
