Foster beat Emanuel Navarrete on Saturday in San Antonio, unifying the WBO and IBF belts with his existing WBC super featherweight title. He now owns three of the four major titles at 130 pounds.

Ryan Garcia claimed Foster's 2026 wins don't compare to his own, citing a two-round knockout and shutout victory over Mario Barrios. Foster laughed off the comparison Wednesday on "The Ariel Helwani Show."

"It ain't even close, man," Foster said. He pointed out he fought three times in less than 10 months against Stephen Fulton, Raymond Ford, and Navarrete, calling all three performances decisive. "The competition level is, by far, favoring my side. Ex-world champion Ford, unified champion in Navarrete. It's not even close."

Foster wants to face the winner of Anthony Cacace versus Nick Ball on December 19 for an undisputed title. He plans to travel to Belfast to scout. But a mandatory challenger complicates things. The WBA ordered Cacace to fight interim champion Elnur Samedov, with a December 31 deadline for the Cacace-Ball winner to confirm that fight or risk being stripped.

Foster also has his own mandatory against Charly Suarez. Top Rank is working to re-sign Vasiliy Lomachenko for 2027 and plans to match him against Suarez first, potentially clearing Foster's path.

Shakur Stevenson posted support for Foster after his Navarrete win, suggesting a future matchup between the two pound-for-pound contenders. Foster said he's always considered Stevenson a great fighter and called a fight between them one worth having.
