Alex Eala needs to turn things around fast. The Filipino player has struggled through the Asian swing, posting early exits on the professional tour. Now she heads to the Ningbo Open hunting for a reset.
This is a crucial stretch for Eala. Consistency matters at this level, and a string of first or second round losses eats away at ranking points and confidence. The Ningbo Open gives her a chance to shift momentum before the swing ends.
Eala has the talent to compete with top players. Getting past that opening hurdle, though, remains the issue right now. One solid run this week could change the narrative around her Asian campaign.
