Jim Harbaugh announced Wednesday that the Chargers have opened injured reserve return windows for tight end David Njoku and linebacker Denzel Perryman.
Njoku has missed the last five games with a fibula injury suffered in Week 2 against the Raiders. He could return before the Week 9 matchup against the Texans.
Perryman has not played this season after being placed on IR with an undisclosed injury. He is in his second stint with the Chargers.
The Chargers remain winless and face the Texans this Sunday.
